7 Reasons to Get an Intex Pet Pool Instead of Visiting a Public Pool
Public pet pools can be fun, but they are not always the best fit for every dog. Some pets get nervous around unfamiliar dogs. Some owners worry about shared water. Others simply do not want to deal with bookings, travel, crowds, or fixed time slots.
An Intex Pet Pool gives your pet a private splash zone at home, on your schedule.

1. Your pet gets a private pool experience
Not every dog enjoys a busy pool environment. With a pet pool at home, your dog does not have to deal with unfamiliar pets, loud surroundings, or crowded sessions.
They can splash, explore, and cool down in a familiar space.

2. You control the water
At a public pet pool, you do not control who used the pool before you or how recently the water was refreshed.
At home, you decide when to fill the pool, when to refresh the water, and how clean you want the setup to be before your pet gets in.

3. No bookings, no waiting, no travel
A public pet pool usually means planning ahead. You need to book a slot, travel there, pack towels, manage your pet, and stick to the session timing.
With an Intex Pet Pool, pool day happens when you want it to happen.
Morning splash before it gets too hot. Afternoon play session. Weekend family time. Your pool, your schedule.

4. Better for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs
Some dogs love water but do not love other dogs.
A home pet pool is useful for pets that get overwhelmed in public spaces. They can enjoy water play without the stress of strange dogs running around them.
It is a calmer way to introduce splash time, especially for pets that need more patience.

5. Great for pets and kids to enjoy together
The Intex Pet Pool can become a supervised family splash zone.
Kids get outdoor water play. Pets get cooling relief and enrichment. Parents get an easy weekend activity at home.
Always supervise children and pets around water, and teach children to play gently with animals.

6. Reusable fun for many sunny days
A single trip to a public pet pool is over once the session ends.
An Intex Pet Pool can be used again and again, making it a practical home upgrade for hot days, school holidays, weekends, and pet play sessions.
For dogs who enjoy water, it becomes part of their regular routine.

7. A more comfortable pool day for everyone
Public pet pools can be exciting, but they can also be noisy, busy, and inconvenient.
At home, the experience is simpler. Your pet is in a familiar place. Your family has privacy. You can stop anytime. You can clean up at your own pace.
That makes splash time easier for pets, kids, and owners.
Give your pet their own splash zone at home
The Intex Pet Pool is a simple way to help your pet cool down, play, and enjoy water time without the stress of crowded public pet pools.
Create a private pool day at home, whenever your pet needs it.

What our customers say
I have purchased several different pet pools over the last few years but this pet pool is on a different level as far as quality. It is very well made and I can see it lasting several years as long as you take care of it and store it properly. It wasn’t super hard to assemble this pool but the instructions could have been written a little more clear for certain steps.
One of my favorite things about this pet pool is that it comes with a cover that is so easy to put on and take off. Overall, this is a great pet pool that my Boston Terrier and Border Collie seemed to enjoy alot!
The vinyl walls are extra thick so no worrying about claws going through it. The filters have an extra hair skimmer so no extra hairs floating around. It was fast to fill and even comes with a cover for added safety when not in use.
